Tree of Life - Photograph, 13x19 with wood frame

$250.00

Tree of Life - Black and White Photograph, 13x19 with wood frame

100 year archival print

The Tree of Life still stands as a living symbol of resilience on the edge of the Pacific.

A Sitka Spruce Tree sits precariously between two cliffs, a waterfall hidden underneath flows out between it's roots out into the Pacific Ocean. An alter underneath honors loves lost and found.

The Tree of Life, an iconic tree on the Washington Coast, has fascinated beach goers for generations and is slowly returning to the ocean. I’ve visited it many times over the years and this photo is from a few years ago when it stood more proud. There is a waterfall below it and a makeshift memorial that invites quiet reflection and remembrance of the souls that have crossed over with hundreds of beach rocks with names and messages written on them, and some flowers. It’s a powerful place.
