As early winter arrived, I spent time with the quiet change of seasons by hiking in the North Cascades. I came up over the ridge and was greeted with this stunning view among the remaining golden Larches looking out across the valley towards Black Peak standing tall in the distance. A moment to pause and reflect and to let my mind wander a bit. Making a promise to myself of another adventure in the North Cascades in the near future, and a future view from the summit of Black Peak.
